BioMedizone has had its fair share of accomplishments this month, but our members have made their own educational, professional, and personal accomplishments this month!

Njeodo Vigny, Cameroon Chapter President

Njeodo's paper on Bacteria Profiles and Anti-Susceptibility Patterns of Isolates on Ward Beds and Door Handles in Tiko Health District, Cameroon, was accepted for publication in the Pan African Medical Journal. Congrats Njeodo!

Aiman Mohiyuddin, Director of Gastroenterology

Aiman started a podcast called "Campus Chatter" at her university's radio club. They dive into subjects like psychology, neuroscience, nutrition, technology, productivity, and even explore topics like sociology, philosophy, and education. Congrats Aiman!

Anvi Palav, Founder

Anvi's co-authored paper on the Impact of Emotional Intelligence on Professional Performance and Stress Resilience Among Healthcare Practitioners was recently published in the Cureus Journal of Medicine. Congrats Anvi!

This month, BioMedizone was featured on Patch News for our significant accomplishments in reaching 100,000 students around the world in 50+ different countries.

BioMedizone UAE's Blue Day Booth

BioMedizone UAE participated in their local Blue Day, or "World Men's Health Day," where volunteers set up three stalls and fundraised 500 DHS ~ $136 USD. Well done BioMedizone UAE!

Hitting Over 1M Views on Instagram

This month has been great for BioMedizone outreach! Multiple of our reels have crossed 100K views, with our total view count reaching about 1M.

💉 Past Event: Murder Mystery

In November, we concluded our Forensics/Pathology Murder Mystery Event!

We had a PhD student from Vanderbilt University in Forensic Science mentor students, and the winner received a permanent mentorship with the PhD student.

Innovation Conference

In January 2025, we will host our first ever Innovation Conference, where students will work in teams to build solutions to public health issues. Their projects will be supported by corporate sponsorships and guest speakers.

In March 2025, we will host another research competition in partnership with a journal in which winning papers will have published abstracts.
