BioMedizone NC Chapter Sponsorship

Our August Research Competition this year was a huge success!
We are so grateful to the people who took the time to participate! We had over 30 submissions from all around the world :)

Congratulations to Nidhi Veerendra and Neil Panchal for achieving the highest score in the immunology research competition!
Their research paper truly encapsulated all the necessary criterion by discussing the various implications associated with the shift from traditional vaccines to targeted immunotherapies.

It will consist of a plethora pre-med students specializing in different medicine-related fields discussing their area of study. In addition, they will provide insight on the track to pre-med.

In October, since it's the month of Halloween, we are going to have a Forensics/Pathology Murder Mystery Event!
We will have professionals in forensics/pathology present a case and participants will utilize forensics principles to create a hypothesis and other findings.

Breaking News in Biomedicine September 2024
- Scientists at CERN have observed an ultra-rare particle decay process involving the charged kaon decaying into a charged pion and a neutrino-antineutrino pair. This discovery could pave the way for new physics beyond the Standard Model
- Astronomers have identified a unique galaxy, GS-NDG-9422, which existed about one billion years after the Big Bang. This discovery could provide insights into the early universe and how cosmic structures formed.
- Researchers have found that extinct volcanoes could be rich sources of rare earth elements, which are crucial for modern technology. This could offer a new method for sourcing these in-demand metals.
Open Positions at BioMedizone
- Researcher: Create monthly research papers based on research topics and be featured on our socials and get published in our monthly research journals, gain access to various virtual labs to enhance your learning and research process, offered multiple revisions for your paper by our skilled research directors
- Outreach/Graphic Design: Create social media posts, reels, videos, etc. to help us promote our cause; make TikToks and instagram reels to expand our reach
- Course Director: Lead and create a course of your choosing for BioMedizone. You can choose between surgery, clinical skills, gastroenterology, psychology, and biomedical programming.
- Course Intern: Assist the course director in creating the course of your choosing. We have multiple openings for this position.
- Grant Writer: Assist BioMedizone by helping create a financial backing for all our events and initiatives. Create grant applications and reach out to companies for sponsorships.
